■要旨

「リビングラボ（Living Lab）」は、市民や利用者を巻き込みながら製品・サービスを開 発するオープンイノベーションの手法として注目されている。コミュニティの分断化が叫ばれる現代において、今後、リビングラボの手法は益々一般化していくと期待されているが、国内における取り組みは必ずしも多いとは言えない。その意味において、できる限り多くの事例を体系化し、その課題や成功要因を明らかにしていくことは重要であろう。本稿では、福岡地域戦略推進協議会による取組事例を中心に、リビングラボの組成時からプロジェクトが自走するまでのプロセスを整理し、得られた気づきからリビングラボ導入における課題やその解決策について考察する。市民の実生活に根ざした気づきをもとに、アイデアの検討、実証を経て、新たな事業等を創出するリビングラボのプロセスは、市民のまちへの当事者意識や主体性を育むとともに、事業ひいては地域の持続可能性を高めると考えられる。

A Study on citizen-driven co-creation "Living Lab" for sustainable community development:

-The case study by Fukuoka Directive Council

This paper will organize the process from the living lab's formation to the self-propelled project and consider the issues and solutions for introducing the living lab from the findings obtained from the Fukuoka Directive Council's case studies. Now the method of Living Lab is expected to become more common because communities are divided. Whereas there are still a few empirical studies on this field in Japan. Therefore, it is essential to systematize more cases and identify problems and success factors. In this paper's case, new services are created by examining and verifying ideas based on awareness of citizens' real life in Living Lab. This process is expected to foster civic pride and citizen's community involvement and enhance business and regional sustainability.
